I know because I’ve lived it.
My name is Dr. Lara Johnson. I'm the founder of Yellow Brick Physical Therapy, in Boulder, Colorado.
I’ve been helping people with their health and longevity ever since I got fascinated with health and the human body, decided to get my Master's in Health and Exercise Science, then went on to get my Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Along the way, I also designed strength programs as a personal trainer and university instructor, training programs as a running coach, mindful classes as a yoga instructor and meditation retreat leader, and even exercise programs as a cardiac rehab technician.
Which means, the heart, your heart- the physical one that beats, the emotional one that gets overshadowed by the turbulence of your mind, and the creative one that makes something out of nothing- is very important to me, and I value helping others nurture their hearts in holistic ways.
That's why this is called the Healthy Heart Challenge.
I challenge you to care for your health, your heart, in all its aspects, in bitesized little tidbits and tasks a day.

The holiday season is meant to be joyous and bring people together.
